The first batch of soap I made (palm, coconut, olive + shea butter + lavender eo) was beautiful, the color of alabaster, it smelled great, it traced correctly ... perfect pH.
My second batch is a disaster (palm, coconut, olive + cocoa butter + shea butter), I started it at 10 a.m. PST on Sunday, it wouldn't trace to save my life, I finally put it in the mold and hoped for the best, after 30 hours it has started to gel but has become translucent and gelatinous. I didn't add color or fragrance because I wanted a "natural" bar. Should I just maintain a vigil or is all lost?
