I have been having problems with white, saponified globs
showing up in my soap. Could this be Fragrance oil? I find that
I am getting some separation of fragrance oil in my soap. Not a lot
just enough to make it a little oily on top. I add my fragrance at
light trace and mix for about 3 to 5 minutes more until heavy trace.
I use a goatmilk/lye mixture and mix oil and lye together at about
when both are at 114 degrees. As a side note, I use Palm kernal oil
cocoa butter oils as part of the oils in my recipe. I mention these,
because they have a higher melting point than the other oils. Perhaps
this is a factor (???) I use 12 pound, 4 chamber vertical molds.
Hopefully this is enough information to generate an answer to my problem.

Thanks,
Jodi Houtz
